Simple answer, the way our oils are carefully selected and sourced! There are many oil distributors trying to keep costs down for themselves as well as their consumers. Refining oils from a plant can go through several steps before they reach their final destination. This may include mashing, stripping, deodorizing, bleaching, high-temperature refining, chemical alteration, recoloring, ect. We chose oils that have taken only the necessary steps to extract from the plant and bottle them up for their utmost nourishing properties. Have you ever wondered why extra virgin olive oil was more expensive in the grocery store than regular olive oil? That’s because it was only processed once! In order to get the maximum quantity, (not quality) of oil from one plant, that plant will be processed multiple times putting the extracted oils through vigorous steps resulting in depletion of its vitamins and minerals.
