I grew up in the quiet countryside of the Appalachian Mountains—where the woods were my playground, my teacher, and my peace. Nature was where I felt most at home… even if it came with bug bites, poison ivy, rashes, and irritated skin along the way.

Back then, store-bought soap never made sense to me. The ingredient lists were long, harsh, and full of things I couldn’t pronounce—yet somehow promised “gentle care.”

As I got older, I developed rosacea.

And with it came discomfort, frustration, and a lot of trial and error. Creams, serums, prescriptions—most of them only led to one familiar feeling: stinging skin and disappointment.

Then came hair loss in my late 20s and early 30s—another moment that made me stop and ask, there has to be a better way.

That’s when I started making my own soap and all natural skin care products.

And for the first time, my skin felt calm. Not raw. Not itchy. Not inflamed.Even my hair began to recover.

That moment changed everything.
